Last April, we kicked off our Capital Campaign with the Raise the Woof Gala, and thanks to your support, we're thrilled to share that since then, construction on the new shelter is underway! Amazing progress has been made- walls have come down and gone up, transforming the space into a brighter, more welcoming environment for the animals and staff.
While some of the new areas are already in use, the work isn't done yet! The old spaces are undergoing major renovations, and a state-of-the-art medical suite is on the way. This year's gala is absolutely crucial to completing our mission and ensuring that every animal receives the care they deserve. As a non-taxpayer-funded, open-admission shelter, DuPage County Animal Services relies heavily on support from DuPage Animal Friends and generous individuals like you. We're excited to share behind-the-scenes photos of construction, but rest assured- the best is yet to come! |
