Educational Training SupportKnow that when you donate to our general fund, you are continuing to help animals even when they have left the shelter. Educating our community and promoting responsible pet ownership is an important piece of meeting our vision. Micro-Chipping ProgramMany animals arrive at Animal Control each year as strays. Unfortunately, over 75% of dogs and 99% of cats that DCACC sees arrive without tags or identification that would allow the staff to locate and reunite them with their owners. All dogs and cats adopted from Animal Control are vaccinated and micro-chipped before going home.
DuPage Animal Friends aims to fund low/no cost micro-chipping in an effort to reunite more lost pets with their owners. We also assist Animal Control in promoting the benefits of micro-chipping to the public. More information on micro-chipping your pet. We will not sell your information and you can opt out at any time.
